DOCUMENT CHECKLIST


Below you will find a simple checklist of items you will need to provide for the Processing and Underwriting of your mortgage loan application.

Standard loan documentation:

  • W-2 forms (previous 2 years)
  • Pay stubs (2 most recent)
  • Employer name & address (2 year history)
  • Bank Account(s) Statements (recent 2 months)
  • Statements for 401(k)s, stocks, other investments (most recent)
  • Photo identification (valid Driver’s License or Passport)
  • Check for credit report and appraisal fee
  • Social Security Award Letter & copy of recent check (if applicable)
  • New home Sales Agreement, specifications, plans, and/or legal description

If self-employed, provide standard loan documentation plus:

  • Two years signed tax returns with all schedules & YTD profit & loss

If currently renting, provide standard loan documentation plus:

  • Landlord name & address for previous 2 years

If selling your current home, provide standard loan documentation plus:

  • Contract for home being sold

If refinancing, provide standard loan documentation plus:

  • Copy of current deed, taxes, and homeowner’s insurance

For eligible Active Military and Veterans, provide standard loan documentation plus:

  • DD214 & Certificate of Eligibility

*Additional items may be requested during the loan underwriting phase if more information is required to guarantee your loan.
